Post IPR Activities
We completed our Internal Progress Review, IPR, exactly one week ago. An ESA expert visited us at the student lab of the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH to examine our progress. Both the expert and the team agreed that we are not yet ready for launch this March. Since then the team has been hard at work on the Rocket Mounted Unit, RMU, and Common Units, CUs. These systems are critical to a successful experiment.
Asuka has disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled the RMU as well as manufactured an improved CU lid design. Alex has looked into testing the RMU and CU software. Laura has continued soldering the second CU PCB, updated Facebook, and created this website.
